Wow..man I love most of the things you do.. This piece is truly amazing. I am curious though... how long does one of these take you to make.. from sitting down and conceptualizing it..to the final piece.??
You''ve inspired me to work more with painting in PS.. I need to get Corel Painter someday as well..

Great..Brilliant work once again man.. I love it.. :+fav:

thank's mate, well it took me a few day's this one, within a week, there was no thought, i just started off with some random stroke's and let my sub-concious do the rest, alot of my art is instinct/intuitive, i don't like putting much thought into my art, i like to let my sub-concious take over.

I can totally see that..and completely understand. Your work is killer.. I was expecting you to say it took about that long.. It looks like it would take that long. Amazing detail.

Awesome use of Liquify, magic and a trained hand.

What are some of your favorite filters?

:icondieguito:
Dieguito Featured By Owner Jun 12, 2004
hi rakista, i don't really use filter's, if any i use blur and that's for photo-manip's and sometime's the sharpen filter but usually i like to apply the blur or sharpen manually with the tool's given and i rarely ever use liquify mainly cause my pc end's up giving me shit, thank's again for the comment.

lol , you will have to get used to it for let s say one week , but after ... you ll slam your mouse with your head for not having done it before .

it s a beautifull work you ve done , i have a strange feeling as if it is the result of on explosion .
i just believe that you should try to give a little more sharpness to the little guy on the right . else it s great as some of your devs can be !

I just love all the little details. The textures, the faces, and the highlights are stunning. Also, the rustic colour scheme is amazing. It all flows like liquid smoke. A definite favourite. The artwork completes what the title's atmosphere points to.

Fine, I suppose. Haven't got too much to do. I'm off to the army in one month, so I'm just trying to relax before I ship off. Sucks pretty bad though... Especially because I'm itching to apply to the art school again but it'll be pretty fucking complicated while being in the army. They'll give me some time off to apply but it'll be a hassle to work out. Be as it may, I think I'll take a month's bender and get heavily intoxicated while waiting for the inevitable.

Maybe I have some reservations about somebody actually caring about my personal shit... :) But I suppose you're sincere enough.

The army is compulsory here... Shit, I wouldn't waste a year in a fucking army which hasn't had anything to do for the last 60 years. Besides, I'm a lover, not a fighter. ;) It's more or less considered as the initiation in to manhood in Finland. It's something almost all men here can relate to - my grandfather, my father, my uncles, and my brother have been through it, so skipping it and doing civil service would be social suicide.
